Once a upon a time

 

On a warm, calm evening, I was relaxing in the lounge, watching TV. My parents said that we were going to get something from the shop. I can’t stay home by myself so I had to go with them. I stayed in the car, while my parents went to the shop. It was a beautiful evening. I watched the sun set behind the horizon. As I stared out into the sea, I noticed something in the waves. It looked like the water was going up. 

Not long after, my parents came back. I could see the water rushing to the shore. Mum started the engine and we zoomed off on time before the big wave crashed on the seashore. 

It was a mad rush as everyone was fighting to get away. 

Thank goodness we had a narrow escape.
