what I have done today is adding all of the people in the ruby team to see how much total it is and then we did the answer and found out the teams weight, height, age, caps and test point.

Making a Putiputi (Flower)

Making a Putiputi (Flower)
1. Cut a piece of handbrake (flax)
2. Split the leaf down the middle until the hard stalk.
3. Split each half into three even strips.
4. Take one outside strips fold it at a right angle and weave it under and over the other strips.
5. When you finish weaving all the strips, turn the weaving 90’ and began weaving again.
6. Keep turning and weaving until you have a short strips left. The pattern will be a square.
7.  The pattern will be a square.
8. Thad the strips through to the back.


9. Hold onto the front woven piece and turn it to make a spiral
10. When happy with the Putin shape, tie the back strips tightly in a knot.

11. Cut the stalk shorter if needed.


When I was making a Putin the first time was hard to know what to do
so I got started and then for a while I got the hang of it and when I got the
hang of it, it was pretty hard at the last part I asked if she could help me do
the last one for me and then once I finished with my Putin it turn out
#different to the other ones that were finish.
